Battling against a force of the Israeli Occupying Army, where the battle operation and engagement lasted for approximately 10 hours, Waleed Mohammed Hijazi Ebeido and his colleague Ala' Al Fakhoury were killed, and leaving several others injured. They were left in the area for 24 hours, bleeding to death. Afterwards, a Captain Tamer stripped off their clothes, opened fire at the bodies as witnessed from the residents of the area where the battle occurred, abducted the bodies, and refused to return them back to the families. In addition, Waleed Ebeido's father and brothers were arrested, with their homes and furnitures demolished.
