Jihad Sayyaj was a worker in Israel. On one of the evenings of July, 1981, Jihad Sayyaj went to dinner with his colleagues (Palestinian workers), and where he did not return back home. After his family not hearing from him for one week, they started searching and inquiring about him to his employer, police, and hospitals. The family also informed the International Red Cross on his disappearance, where they did not find him either. This led the family's suspicions on the disappearance circumstances, as it did not satisfy all their efforts in knowing his fate.
