Mohammed Abdul Majeed Hasan was an Officer in the Jordanian Arab Army ranked as Captain and salaried under Brigade Ali Bin Abi Taleb. He was promoted to his current position in the military during the war of June 1967, in bombing an Israeli warplane, resulting to several injuries, and where one of them was Brigade Sheikh Mahmoud Hasan Al Noubani. Mohammed Abdul Majeed transferred the injured Sheikh to East Jerusalem, taking him to the hospital. The ambulance transferring them was exposed to an Israeli raid while it was passing by a bus center in the Old City of Jerusalem, resulting in injuries to Mohammed Abdul Majeed Hasan's stomach and foot. An Israeli military unit arrested him and Sheikh Mahmoud Hasan Al Noubani after entering the hospital, received medical treatment, left the Palestinian Territories, and rejoined with Brigade Ali Bin Abi Taleb on August, 1967 in his commandment location in Ajloun, North of Jordan. In addition, the ambulance driver succeeded in escaping the arrest. Mohammed Abdul Majeed Hasan's brother, Atallah Abdul Majeed Hasan, obtaining this information from Sheikh Mahmoud Hasan Al Noubani and the ambulance driver, could not find a thread to lead him on the fate of his brother, especially that Mohammed Abdul Majeed Hasan's name could not be found on any record in the East Jerusalem Municipality's Center of Defense. It was during the time when the Center produced a file of all the names of buried bodies. Despite the several interventions of Al Qased Al Rassouli, the International Red Cross, the People's Committee in Jerusalem, and the Israeli Occupying Authorities denied him as a captive.
