During his coalition with a resistant fighter group of a total of ten fighters, nine of them died. Two of them were released during a prisoner exchange deal in 1985. The Israeli Authorities during that time returned back the bodies to their families, yet however, Yousef Mohammed Abdel Rabbo Al Omlah's body was never recovered, and the Israeli Authorities never recognized him as one of their prisoners.
