Salem Eid Maisar Al Khawaldah was a soldier in the Al Hussein Second Battalion of the Jordanian Arab Army. When Israel conducted its aggression on the Arab countries on June, 1967, with the battalion defending Jerusalem, his body was missing on June 6th, 1967. One of the witnesses from the Jordanian Army informed that an Israeli warplane bombed the location where Salem Khawaldah was in, along with sixteen other soldiers. It is unknown whether they are dead or alive. His brother has been informed by some of his relatives that they have heard Salem Khawaldah addressing to his family, shaking goodbye inside the Israeli prison, and where this information has been unknown.
